______project: Encyclopedia of Anticipation
The Encyclopedia of Anticipation was an inquiry into the process of history-making and self-institutionalization, making the itineraries of such activities visible and present. The central idea was to look at the process of history writing from a different perspective - writing history in the present. The main focus of such process was a specific discursive situation, during which a number of people, works, visions, statements and by-products of artists, thinkers and curators with different social, political and ideological attitudes and reasons for their practices and involvement in their practices were explored.
For a series of workshop-sessions Sparwasser HQ brought together curator Linus Elmes, artist Michael Baers, Daniel Seiple& Philip Horst/Skulpturenpark and Sönke Hallmann&Inga Zimprich/Department of Reading.
