www.sparwasserhq.deSparwasser HQ, Offensive for Contemporary Art and Communication, is a non-profit platform for curated projects, which have collaborative and discursive research as a first priority. We are working with a continuously changing idea of 'exhibition' practice: An exhibition could be a temporary laboratory of ideas to circulate in a growing network, where the focus moves from the purely visual to the production of dialogue. The exhibition could be a personal idiosyncratic vision, an unfinished work to be tested behind closed doors. Or it could happen somewhere out there and be a relationship or a constellation. For this reason the roles of participants and organisation as such are to be re-defined each time. Until today the platform in Berlin has made 80 exhibitions projects alongside a busy programme of events and small conferences. Over years it has been a meeting point for Nordic artists in Berlin. Sparwasser HQ is also participating or organising outside and abroard; at the moment Sparwasser HQ is a working office and a residency host.
