Diskus

Part of the Brunnenstrasse group that includes Amerika and Rekord, Diskus is another such artist-led space to have established themselves around the commercial gallery format. Here 10 young Sculptors from Dresden have joined forces, together with Birgit Ostermeier their Gallerist, also young and embarking on her first project as a Gallerist. Over the next 2 years they hope to create a platform for their work in Berlin, each having solo shows, whilst still living and working in Dresden. The space can be found in the 3rd courtyard behind the main street, it is private and small and offers no public window, so seems quite exclusive, and unengaging.
